For valentine s day i decided to design a heart pillow.
Crochet heart pillow free pattern.
I was originally going to design the pillows to look like candy conversation hearts.
The smaller pillow measures 8 wide x 7 5 tall.
Chain 1 and single crochet the two heart pieces together through the single crochet stitches on the borders.
Place the two panels together matching up all sides.
My favorite time of the year is the winter season especially the holiday season.
Crochet all the way down and around the heart and up the opposite side.
Now i know we are months away from that time of the year but it does help to start making gifts earlier in the year.
You should now have two completed heart panels like so.
Leave enough space to fit your hand into the pillow and fill it with poly fil.
I also added a scallop border.
Perfect for a fun throw pillow for a chair or bed or for a little one to rest their head on while reading.
Using hook size f 5 3 75 mm heart pillow measures approximately 7 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall including the ruffle.
These crochet heart pillows are fun to make and are so soft and squishy when they are finished.
I think the pillows look like boxes of valentine chocolates.
This pattern includes instructions for two sizes of heart pillows.
You ll need worsted weight yarn and a 4 5mm crochet hook.
Starting on the left side at the top begin attaching the panels together by chaining one and single crocheting around the outside of the panels in blossom using two strands.
The plaid pillow with heart is a free crochet pattern and made using single crochet stitches and the plaid crochet pattern technique.
Once i got started though i changed my mind and decided to use white yarn for the font as opposed to red.
Blo back loop only.
